• Take ownership of global billing operations, ensuring the accurate and timely generation of invoices in accordance with contract terms, pricing structures, and booking policies.
• Oversee the entire invoicing lifecycle after a deal is closed, which includes billing setup, validation, and delivery.
• Ensure consistency across Salesforce, contract terms, and NetSuite to reduce downstream errors and mitigate revenue impact.
• Act as the main escalation point for intricate billing issues, disputes, and exceptions.
• Lead the collections processes, including accounts receivable aging, follow-ups, and resolution of disputes.
• Monitor and enhance performance based on key metrics such as Days Sales Outstanding, overdue balances, and collection efficiency.
• Guarantee timely and accurate cash application and account reconciliation.
• Own and continuously refine billing and accounts receivable processes to promote scalability and efficiency.
• Identify and implement automation possibilities across systems and workflows.
• Collaborate with Deal Desk and Revenue Operations to ensure a smooth transition from deal structure to billing execution.
• Ensure that billing and accounts receivable processes comply with SOX regulations and are ready for audits.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing Global Billing Operations team.
• Over 8 years of experience in billing operations or finance operations, ideally within the SaaS or technology sectors.
• More than 3 years of experience in people management.
• Strong knowledge of the Order to Cash process.
• Extensive experience with NetSuite and Salesforce platforms.
• In-depth understanding of billing processes, invoicing frameworks, and collections workflows.
• Experience working in a dynamic, high-growth environment with complex deals.
• Familiarity with automation, artificial intelligence, or process improvement projects.
