Manager, FP & A

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete financial planning cycles for a designated team or workstream, ensuring all deadlines are met.

• Create and assess financial models to guarantee accuracy, logical soundness, and business relevance.

• Track performance against the plan and provide meaningful explanations for variances, rather than just restating results.

• Recognize risks and opportunities early, collaborating with business owners to formulate and implement corrective measures.

• Enhance reporting templates, dashboards, and process workflows, discontinuing reports that no longer serve a purpose.

• Guide analysts and senior analysts, elevating the standards of modeling precision and analytical communication.

• Facilitate execution in collaboration with cross-functional teams, backing their decisions with data insights.

• Spearhead the integration of AI-driven workflows and automation within FP&A processes, assessing and deploying solutions that enhance efficiency, forecast accuracy, and analytical depth.

⛳️ Requirements

• B.A. or B.S. in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline.

• Six to nine years of experience in FP&A, encompassing ownership of a comprehensive planning process and direct oversight of analysts.

• Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.

• Familiarity with an EPM platform.

• Preferred Qualifications: MBA or CPA.

• Experience within an organization backed by private equity.

• Background in home care or multi-site healthcare services.

• Proficiency with Planful, Workday Adaptive Planning, Power BI, or Tableau.

• Experience in leading the implementation of AI-driven finance tools, automation projects, or process redesigns.
