This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide strategic guidance, direction, and oversight for OCHIN’s Epic technical platform.
• Lead the Epic technical team responsible for Server Systems and Client Systems.
• Take ownership of the reliability, performance, availability, and lifecycle management of the Epic technical environment.
• Supervise Epic operational database activities, including backups, monitoring, performance, capacity planning, and ensuring high availability.
• Oversee Hyperspace, Hyperspace Web, and the associated Web and Service Servers.
• Guarantee 24x7 operational coverage, incident response, escalation management, and after-hours assistance.
• Establish and enhance monitoring, patching, access controls, configuration baselines, and runbooks.
• Manage incident, problem, and change management processes, including root cause analysis and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with Epic application owners and cross-functional IT leaders regarding capabilities, priorities, timelines, dependencies, and maintenance.
• Align projects and operational activities with organizational objectives, budgets, and deadlines.
• Track and report service performance metrics while promoting continuous improvement.
• Communicate technical performance, incidents, risks, and planned changes to leadership, stakeholders, and team members.
• Oversee staff onboarding, training, and development.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and budget accountability.
• Provide support for on-site Go Live installations or training as necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7–10+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure engineering or operations.
• Experience in supporting enterprise application platforms in 24x7 production settings.
• 3–5 years of experience managing a remote team of 10, encompassing performance management, team development, and delivery ownership; required.
• Experience in leading teams responsible for Epic technical infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Epic operational database operations, client and presentation tiers, or web and service servers.
• Experience in supporting high-availability environments, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning and testing.
• Proven track record in establishing and maintaining SLAs, reliability targets, and operational metrics.
• Experience with incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous service enhancement.
• Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in leading enterprise change management practices.
• Familiarity with ITIL-based change, incident, and problem management processes.
• Experience managing or influencing technology costs, vendor relationships, and/or consumption management.
• Ability to work independently and effectively from a home office.
• Access to high-speed Internet service.

• Proficiency in reading, speaking, writing, and understanding English.
