This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Provide leadership, technical direction, and workload distribution among the Enterprise Applications technical team.
• Oversee the support, maintenance, and enhancement of business systems across the enterprise.
• Deliver customer support, plan implementations, manage upgrades, and assist with new business application support.
• Supervise troubleshooting and resolution of system and application challenges involving vendors and clients.
• Guide, mentor, and train staff in industry best practices and technical competencies.
• Address escalated operational issues that require collaboration with various departments.
• Offer project management assistance for multiple IT initiatives.
• Provide technical and customer assistance for insurance business applications, which include ServiceNow, CRMs, agency management systems, marketing tools, collaboration and automation systems, claims systems, and financial systems.
• Manage and execute application rollouts and upgrades in collaboration with vendors, end-users, and IT teams.
• Analyze and define issues encountered in production.
• Identify, manage, and implement improvements and governance for systems and processes.
• Generate and deliver tailored reports and administrative documentation.
• Establish and nurture business relationships with staff and management.
• Work together with technical support staff, administrators, developers, and Enterprise Applications personnel to ensure application readiness and ongoing support.
• Assist in data cleanup efforts for conversion objectives.
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of enterprise applications and their underlying technologies.
• Develop and uphold policies and procedures for application development and maintenance, including lifecycle strategies, testing, implementation, and post-implementation monitoring.
• Perform additional assigned tasks.
• Bachelor's Degree in computer technology or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in supporting enterprise applications, SaaS applications, business office applications, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience collaborating with teams utilizing Agile methodologies.
• Background in the insurance industry.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools, preferably ServiceNow, and support frameworks.
• Strong expertise in enterprise application support.
• Knowledge of cloud-based applications and SaaS platforms.
• Understanding of data integration tools, APIs, application governance, and change management.
• Project management abilities with the capability to handle multiple projects and systems concurrently.
• Leadership qualities for planning and prioritizing personnel assignments and projects.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service abilities, including phone etiquette and active listening skills.
