This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluate donor participation and engagement metrics to reactivate donors and enhance their involvement.
• Collaborate with portfolio owners to communicate effectively with donors.
• Perform pipeline analysis and conduct prospect research to discover potential donors and funding partners.
• Craft donor profiles and distribute them to the respective portfolio owners.
• Oversee a portfolio of donors that supports all five regions, including scholarship, “in honor of,” and small-grant initiatives.
• Assist Associate Boards across all five regions and at the national level.
• Work in conjunction with Operations and portfolio owners to ensure donor information, donation tracking, and donor data are accurate.
• Keep donor prospect and campaign data up-to-date in Trello, aligned with CiviCRM.
• Prepare donor correspondence, letters, invoices, reports, pledges, follow-up materials, and other stewardship resources.
• Monitor and share portfolio analytics, donor performance, and other relevant performance metrics.
• Provide staffing assistance for national fundraising events as required.
• Maintain shared Development team assets, including grant attachments and Development files on Drive.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in nonprofit fundraising.
• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong writing abilities.
• Proficient in building relationships internally and externally.
• Familiarity with Harlem Lacrosse’s collaborative national model.
• Basic understanding of CiviCRM and other donor management systems.
• Fundamental knowledge of Trello and other project management tools.
• Commitment to promoting racial and gender equity.
• Excellent communication, project management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Enthusiasm for supporting systematically disenfranchised youth, ideally through mentoring, education, and/or sports-based youth development.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Willingness to work mornings, evenings, and weekends as necessary.
• Ability to undertake local, regional, and, on occasion, overnight team travel.
• Aptitude for effectively collaborating with colleagues across various geographies and time zones.
