This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Evaluate DT and cybersecurity processes and procedures to assess the reliability and efficiency of current control systems.
• Support the assurance that management is undertaking appropriate risk mitigation measures.
• Provide management with independent and objective reports, evaluations, appraisals, advice, and recommendations.
• In addition to conducting risk-based audits, this role will spearhead the automation of controls testing and improve existing work instructions.
• Engage in completing risk-based audits for assigned projects.
• May oversee projects or processes while coaching and reviewing the work of team members.
• Evaluate the risk associated with key business processes, leading to the development of audit plans and specific audit programs.
• Develop process maps for significant DT, cybersecurity, financial, business, and operational processes to pinpoint potential internal control weaknesses and suggest areas for enhancement.
• Assist in drafting clear and concise audit reports.
• Present audit findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Create new automated testing procedures utilizing internal tools such as Tanium, Verdant, ServiceNow, and Ansible.
• Develop new work programs for emerging Digital Technology areas including Cloud Computing, Internet of Things (IoT), and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
• Aid in the modernization of current work programs to encompass automated testing.
• Commit to continuous self-improvement by acquiring technical skills as necessary based on departmental requirements.
• Travel to company locations as needed, potentially ranging from 5% to 30%.
• Generally requires a University Degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience, or if lacking a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Advanced Microsoft Office applications and Excel.
• Current U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• Experience in scripting for Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Servers and PCs, Unix operating systems, and Visual Basic for Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with Tanium, Verdant, Archer GRC, and ServiceNow.
• Background in public accounting, internal audit, government accounting, or project management work with exposure to a manufacturing environment; company; server audits.
