This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the Deal Desk division at Geotab, managing the review of commercial deals and pricing execution for both reseller and direct customer portfolios.
• Provide strategic guidance for non-standard pricing requests, intricate reseller RFPs, reseller credit requests, and the structuring of commercial agreements.
• Establish and uphold deal desk SLAs, triage standards, approval thresholds, and delegation frameworks.
• Act as the main escalation point for complex commercial scenarios.
• Direct commercial negotiations involving Sales, resellers, and direct customers.
• Oversee the administration and governance of commercial pricing in DealHub CPQ, including the design of playbooks, configuration of approval workflows, and management of quoting rules.
• Collaborate with Revenue Operations, Finance, and Legal teams on executable deals, contractual terms, and margin risks.
• Supervise the activities, development, and performance of direct reports.
• Mentor and coach the Deal Desk team, supporting their performance management and career growth.
• Assist in global strategic initiatives while managing the team budget and headcount.
• Contribute to annual planning and resource allocation for the Deal Desk division.
• 5–8 years of essential experience in deal desk, commercial pricing, or a related commercial role within a B2B SaaS or technology setting.
• 1–3 years of necessary supervisory experience leading a deal desk, pricing, or commercial operations team.
• Strong commercial insight and expertise in negotiating pricing and structuring complex deals.
• Comprehensive understanding of deal desk operations, approval frameworks, SLA management, and assessment of commercial risk.
• Familiarity with CPQ or deal management platforms; experience with DealHub is advantageous.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing deal desk intake processes, approval workflows, and escalation frameworks.
• Excellent project management capabilities and the ability to handle high-volume queues alongside strategic initiatives.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication and negotiation abilities.
• Strategic thinker with the capacity to make sound decisions under time constraints.
• Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Revenue Operations, Finance, and Legal teams.
• An entrepreneurial mindset comfortable in a flat organizational structure.
• Proficient in working with data and analytical tools; capable of building and interpreting reports, dashboards, and commercial performance metrics using spreadsheet tools or BI platforms.
• Reliable internet connection with a minimum of 50mb DL/10mb UL when working remotely.
