This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee the enterprise data governance operating model, which includes governance councils, domain working sessions, decision logs, and follow-through actions.
• Define and uphold enterprise governance standards, policies, and procedures that facilitate scalable and trustworthy analytics delivery.
• Establish governance operating rhythms and processes for cross-functional collaboration between business and technical teams.
• Provide leadership, coordination, and operational guidance for Reporting & Analytics Business Systems Analysts (BSAs), QA resources, and other data-centric analysts supporting enterprise reporting and governance initiatives.
• Create standardized processes for intake, requirements gathering, testing, documentation, and governance across analytics delivery teams.
• Enhance cross-functional collaboration and the quality of delivery by aligning governance requirements with business analysis, QA validation, and reporting development practices.
• Aid in resource prioritization, workload management, and continuous improvement within the Reporting & Analytics support functions.
• Define and manage structures for enterprise data ownership and stewardship, including clear roles, responsibilities, and decision rights across critical business domains.
• Collaborate with business leaders and technical teams to ensure accountability for the quality, consistency, and lifecycle management of enterprise data.
• Facilitate governance discussions, resolve issues, prioritize actions, and promote policy adoption among stakeholders.
• Take ownership of and maintain the enterprise business glossary and governance process, which includes:
• Standard business definitions
• Approval workflows
• Change management and version control
• Documentation standards
• Enhance the consistency of enterprise reporting by minimizing duplicate metrics and conflicting KPI definitions.
• Define governance standards for metadata management, lineage visibility, access conventions, retention policies, and certification of trusted datasets.
• Collaborate with analytics and engineering teams to improve the transparency and traceability of enterprise data assets.
• Support scalable governance practices within cloud-based analytics and lakehouse environments.
• Integrate governance requirements into delivery and agile processes to ensure governance is a standard part of execution rather than an afterthought.
• Coordinate with data quality and business stakeholders to align governance standards with monitoring, issue management, and remediation responsibilities.
• Promote consistent and governed reporting practices across Power BI, Excel, and enterprise analytics platforms.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
• At least 6 years of experience in data governance, data management, analytics enablement, or similar enterprise data roles.
• A minimum of 1 year of demonstrated leadership experience directing or coordinating Business Systems Analysts (BSAs), QA resources, or analytics support teams within enterprise reporting or analytics environments.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise governance programs, operating models, and governance cadences.
• Strong understanding of:
• Data stewardship and ownership models

• Data lifecycle management
• Governance controls and standards
• Experience enhancing the consistency of enterprise reporting and KPI definitions through structured governance practices.
• Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities across business and technical teams.
• Capability to write clear, actionable, and implementable governance standards and policies.
• Experience incorporating governance into agile delivery and operational processes.
• Familiarity with cloud-based analytics ecosystems and modern data platforms.
• Excellent organizational and facilitation skills.
