This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Collaborates with the Oxfam International (OI) InfoSec Team, Affiliates Infrastructure Teams, Local and International Business Units and Staff, Business Applications Manager, Vendors, and Consultants.
• Directs and ensures the stability, security, and scalability of the organization’s IT systems.
• Manages the operation and upkeep of both on-premise and cloud-based infrastructures, which include network devices, servers, and backups.
• Effectively leads the helpdesk team, guaranteeing timely and efficient technical support for staff as stipulated by our service level agreements.
• Oversees security infrastructure, such as firewalls and policies, as well as VPN access, in accordance with global Oxfam security protocols and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Ensures high-quality system performance and addresses issues as they arise.
• Develops, maintains, and continuously enhances IT infrastructure documentation, encompassing network diagrams, system architecture, configuration standards, asset inventories, and operational procedures.
• BA or BS in Information Technology or Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
• Over 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure and cybersecurity roles, including management of teams or vendors.
• Comprehensive understanding of networking principles, firewalls (e.g., Meraki), endpoint protection, cloud services (O365, Azure), and device management (e.g., Intune).
• Proficient in security operations, including incident response, vulnerability management, and familiarity with SIEM tools.
• Practical experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Service-Now).
• Working knowledge of AV systems for conference rooms.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills; capable of effective communication in both oral and written forms, as well as during presentations.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with a solution-oriented approach.
• Ability to operate independently while applying strategic thinking with technical expertise.
• Expert-level knowledge in data, information, and security standards, policies, and architecture.
• Proficient in contract/vendor negotiation and relationship management.
• Experience in research, evaluation, and technology strategy proposals.
• Skilled in creating, modifying, and producing Policy and Procedural documentation.
• Demonstrated experience with technology systems implementations and effectively coordinating between IT and business partners.
