Manager, Corporate Tax Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Prepare and evaluate income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740.

• Offer tax provision and compliance services for a diverse array of corporate clients, ranging from startup enterprises to Fortune 500 multinational companies.

• Act as the main client service contact for a portfolio of clients; proactively identify opportunities to deliver additional services.

• Oversee the provision of accounting services to guarantee technical accuracy and a high-quality work product while adhering to budget and time constraints.

• Enhance technical expertise by staying informed on tax laws, trends, and developments; acquire in-depth technical knowledge in the field of income tax accounting.

• Lead and supervise teams of tax professionals: Engage in mentoring and developing team members; take an active role in recruiting, training, and retaining team talent.

• Review work completed by Associates and Seniors prior to submission to Senior/Managing Directors for final review.

• Support administrative and operational initiatives as directed by firm leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, and a licensed CPA or Enrolled Agent in their home office state.

• Demonstrated success in supervising complete engagements, with proven technical proficiency in preparing and reviewing income tax return work papers in compliance with U.S. Federal, State, and Local income tax regulations.

• Self-motivated, quick learner with strong communication skills and a proven track record of professionalism.

• A minimum of 4 years of recent, continuous corporate tax experience, holding a current title of “Manager” or an equivalent designation.

• Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S.
