This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, implement, and manage elements of Innovaccer’s healthcare compliance program.
• Provide strategic guidance for compliance initiatives to reduce risk and ensure adherence to regulations.
• Continuously enhance compliance programs, policies, and procedures related to HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid, and fraud and abuse legislation.
• Conduct risk assessments and formulate corrective action plans.
• Oversee and conduct internal monitoring and auditing activities.
• Investigate potential compliance breaches and enforce corrective and preventive strategies.
• Act as a point of contact during audits or investigations.
• Design and deliver training programs on compliance.
• Prepare compliance reports for departmental leaders and executive management.
• Utilize technology and analytics to generate actionable reports.
• Collaborate with legal counsel and information security teams on intricate compliance issues.
• Keep abreast of changes in healthcare regulations and emerging compliance trends.
• Perform additional compliance-related tasks as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Law, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in healthcare compliance.
• At least 3 years of experience overseeing a compliance program within an organization.
• Proven experience in developing and executing healthcare compliance programs.
• In-depth knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, and Medicare/Medicaid regulations.
• Strong understanding of the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, and the False Claims Act.
• Proficient in compliance risk assessment methodologies and auditing techniques.
• Experience with compliance management software and data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with healthcare accreditation standards such as Joint Commission and NCQA.
• Outstanding leadership, analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, integrity, and ethical decision-making abilities.
• Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) is preferred.
• CHPC or CCEP certifications are preferred.
• Background in revenue cycle management or medical coding is preferred.
• Experience across various healthcare settings is preferred.
• Experience in revenue cycle management and/or delegated services is preferred.
• Knowledge of compliance issues concerning telehealth, digital health, or value-based care is preferred.
