Manager – Cloud Platform Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Direct a team of 6 Cloud Engineers, promoting a culture of strong ownership.

• Supervise the progression of AWS EKS clusters to ensure they remain resilient, high-performing, and secure.

• Collaborate with the Finance team to oversee hosting expenditures and encourage a cost-aware engineering culture.

• Establish and uphold infrastructure best practices throughout the engineering organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience managing engineering teams in a cloud-native setting.

• More than 10 years in the technology sector.

• Extensive knowledge of the AWS ecosystem (EKS, IAM, VPC, RDS).

• Advanced understanding of GitOps workflows (ArgoCD), CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

• Proven experience managing seven-figure cloud budgets and executing effective cost-reduction strategies.

• Established ability to lead intricate initiatives from inception to completion with minimal supervision.
