This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Directly oversee, mentor, recruit, onboard, and cultivate the non-clinician care team.
• Establish performance benchmarks, quality measures, and productivity goals.
• Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performance remote team culture while acting as the main escalation point during operational hours.
• Manage clinician scheduling and coverage planning for a 24/7/365 operation.
• Administer PTO, shift swaps, coverage gaps, real-time staffing decisions, and surge coverage.
• Take responsibility for real-time patient queue management across various visit types to ensure SLAs are met.
• Enhance throughput by minimizing wait times, optimizing case distribution, and eliminating backlogs.
• Identify obstacles and implement process and AI-driven enhancements.
• Advocate for the responsible integration of AI tools into operational and care team workflows.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams on tooling and automation initiatives.
• Develop, track, and report on clinic operations KPIs.
• Staff according to demand within budget constraints and manage labor and operational expenses effectively.
• Work alongside the Medical Director, clinical leadership, Business Operations, People Operations, and Provider Operations.
• Assist with credentialing/licensing, timely starts, and thorough onboarding processes.
• Cultivate relationships with clinicians to enhance satisfaction and retention.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 5-7 years of experience in clinical or healthcare operations, including direct management of daily clinic or medical group operations.
• A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience supervising non-clinician staff.
• Proven ownership of clinician scheduling/coverage and/or real-time queue and throughput management.
• A successful history of enhancing operational KPIs such as SLA attainment, throughput, and utilization.
• Comfort and enthusiasm for working within AI-driven workflows.
• Proven ability to utilize AI tools to boost personal and team efficiency.
• Willingness to operate in a 24/7/365 care delivery environment, including outside conventional business hours as necessary.
• Demonstrated success in leading a fully remote team and collaborating across functions.
• A Master’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in telehealth, virtual care, or digital health is preferred.
• Background in high-growth, rapidly scaling organizations is preferred.
• Familiarity with workforce management and scheduling tools is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with deploying AI tools or automation to enhance operational workflows is preferred.
