This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Leads and oversees the software development team dedicated to API services.

• Directs the design, development, and deployment of high-quality APIs.

• Ensures the upkeep, improvement, and performance optimization of current APIs.

• Works in collaboration with Application Administrators and PMO on API integration, help desk support, and delivery processes.

• Establishes and upholds standards and best practices for API development.

• Manages team performance, which includes hiring, mentoring, and conducting performance evaluations.

• Engages in road mapping, budgeting, and other forecasting methodologies.

• Remains informed about API technologies and industry trends to emphasize the importance of continuous learning.

• Guarantees that teams are equipped with suitable solutions, technical specifications, direction, and resources to deliver effectively by setting realistic timeline estimates.

• Acquires a comprehensive technical understanding of current software applications and their usage in daily business operations.

• Researches, assesses, and suggests new technologies and processes that can enhance software quality, lower development costs, and/or add value to business users.

• Contributes to software upgrades, decisions on build vs. buy, and testing phases (both unit testing and UAT).

• Participates in release/sprint planning and scrum meetings as required.

• Provides Tier III/IV support for resolving production-related system issues.

• Collaborates on hardware requirements to ensure optimal software performance.

• Establishes and maintains standards for documentation.

• Ensures compliance with SOC2 controls.

• Manages personal workload to meet established timelines.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of software development experience in ASP.NET and VB.net or C#.net OR 8+ years of experience managing a software development team.

• 5+ years of experience with SQL 2008 and higher.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities are essential.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.

• Demonstrated experience in leading technical teams.

• Significant experience with CRM, ERP, and Managed Services platforms.

• Familiarity with API models, architecture, and development.

• Experience with API iPaaS platforms.

• Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint (2013 and above).

• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

• Knowledge of Azure DevOps.

• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices.

• Understanding of data warehousing concepts.

• Exposure to MVC/Razor and Web Services (WCF/Web API).

• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
