This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee quality and animal safety programs for suppliers and co-manufacturers to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Perform audits, assessments, performance evaluations, and continuous monitoring of suppliers and co-manufacturers.
• Assist in the qualification, onboarding, risk assessment, and product safety evaluations related to external manufacturing.
• Lead investigations into quality issues, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for supplier and co-manufacturing challenges.
• Track quality metrics, recognize trends, and promote continuous improvement initiatives throughout the supplier and co-manufacturing network.
• Maintain comprehensive supplier quality documentation, ensure audit readiness, and foster strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
• A Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Quality, Biology, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in supplier quality, quality assurance, animal safety, manufacturing, or a similar field.
• Proven experience managing supplier or co-manufacturing quality functions, including audits, assessments, and performance tracking.
• Proficient understanding of quality systems, regulatory compliance, audit procedures, and CAPA methodologies.
• Strong ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, and Regulatory Affairs.
• Willingness to work in office, manufacturing, laboratory, or production settings and travel domestically and internationally as required.
