This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Overseeing the execution of Business-as-Usual (BAU) operations, coordinating workflows, and managing team activities within a specific modeling scope.

• Managing daily workflows, monitoring deliverables, and ensuring that outputs adhere to quality and timing standards.

• Conducting initial reviews and quality assurance for standard actuarial outputs.

• Verifying that changes to models and processes are backed by proper testing and documentation.

• Leading organized onboarding and foundational training sessions for junior actuarial personnel.

• Assisting with new business initiatives, conducting what-if analyses, and engaging in cross-line projects.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree (or an equivalent combination of education and experience) in mathematics, actuarial science, business, or a related field is preferred.

• Certification: FSA or an equivalent international designation is strongly preferred.

• 5-8 years of progressive actuarial experience with proven expertise in supporting BAU actuarial modeling and reporting using GGY AXIS.

• Required hands-on expertise in AXIS modeling.

• Knowledge of Retirement Plan or Individual Annuity products is essential.

• An effective communicator who can collaborate with Product Line and modeling partners, clearly articulating AXIS results and modeling considerations.
