This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.
• Generate accurate and timely monthly management reporting files utilizing input from the designated business unit.
• Analyze and investigate discrepancies against benchmarks, providing insights into variances and addressing potential issues with non-financial department heads/business units.
• Lead various initiatives, focusing on process enhancements and system improvements.
• Revise Excel-based reconciliations and support documents for all Balance Sheet accounts.
• Provide support and challenge to business leaders during the Group’s Quarterly Strategic Review process (forecasting).
• Prepare information packs for auditors and ensure compliance with the statutory audit process.
• Compile periodic financial statements along with supporting schedules, tax calculations, and cash flow forecasts.
• Analyze and communicate financial data to non-financial managers, advising on business implications and offering suitable recommendations.
• Engage in ongoing process development and transformation projects aimed at enhancing business efficiency and profitability.
• Serve as a Business Partner across all facets of the role.
• Contribute to the achievement of the overall corporate strategy.
• Collect data and perform analysis to aid in business decision-making.
• Assist with future acquisitions in the region, including integration into Vesta systems, processes, controls, and policies.
• Strong commercial insight and financial analysis capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Excel is essential, along with experience using Microsoft Office programs.
• Advanced Excel modeling, data interrogation, and reconciliation abilities.
• Familiarity with Microsoft ERP software is a plus.
• Experience in an international business setting is advantageous.
• The ideal candidate must be fluent in English (both spoken and written), with additional languages considered a benefit.
• Knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) is preferred.
• Experience in the software or high-tech industry would be a valuable asset.
• Highly organized and systematic in service delivery.
