This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +3 more states.
• Drive the growth of orders within the Construction Ecosystem.
• Develop strategic partnerships with leading general contractors, mechanical/electrical contractors, and consulting engineers.
• Collaborate with Vertical Account Managers to capitalize on specific growth opportunities.
• Provide a precise weekly forecast for orders using the Salesforce platform, including an overall orders forecast along with projections for Install and Service lines of business.
• Consistently achieve the orders forecast on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
• Build professional relationships with relevant client decision-makers.
• Establish a strong pipeline of significant pursuits within the Construction Ecosystem and track progress in Salesforce.
• Suggest and implement enhancements to meet sales objectives.
• Conduct a bi-annual review of the Major Market territory plan (White Space, Relationship map, Strategy focused).
• Acquire new customer logos and develop a pipeline of prospective clients.
• Meet or surpass the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• 6+ years of sales experience in the Building Automation or Building Technology sector (including Building Management Systems, HVAC, Fire, Security, Software, etc.).
• A valid Class Driver’s License.
• Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time to sites/customers within the territory.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in sales for large/major projects.
• Strong understanding of the Construction Ecosystem, encompassing general contractors, mechanical contractors, electrical contractors, consulting engineers, and architects.
• Proficiency in using Salesforce.com.
• Solid grasp of direct sales of integrated solutions.
• Skills in outcome-based selling.
• Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding the Annual Operating Plan.
• Experience in C-Level selling.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills are essential.
