This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.

📋 Description

• Manage and develop a portfolio of 125-150 high-net-worth individuals for major gifts, ensuring a thorough understanding of each donor's interests, motivations, and capacity to give.

• Design and execute customized cultivation and solicitation strategies for each donor in the portfolio, guiding them through the organization's sales process.

• Establish strong, meaningful relationships with high-net-worth individuals through consistent communication, personalized meetings, and events.

• Present persuasive cases for support that align with the organization's mission and priorities.

• Ensure appropriate acknowledgment and recognition of major donors, including personalized thank-you letters and mentions in relevant publications.

• Provide regular updates on progress, performance metrics, and activities related to the portfolio of high-net-worth individuals.

• A mature Christian faith and alignment with our Global Value to “Abide in Christ.”

• Knowledge and understanding of how the Christian Gospel serves “the least of these” (Matthew 25:40) and informs our mission.

• Agreement with our Core Value “Be the Kingdom” in both mission execution and personal conduct.

• Acknowledgment of our Statement of Faith.

• A strong passion for justice and advocacy on behalf of vulnerable populations.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (advanced degree and/or relevant certification preferred).

• 3-5 years of experience in major gift fundraising, with a proven record of successfully soliciting and securing significant gifts from high-net-worth individuals.

• Consideration will be given to an experienced Mid-Level fundraiser who has demonstrated success in movements management in collaboration with MGOs.

• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and inspire donors.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication capabilities.

• Familiarity with fundraising principles, philanthropy trends, and ethical practices.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

• Proficient in donor management and fundraising software.
