Mainframe System Programmer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver 24/7/365 remote support services and provide on-site assistance when required.

• Employ IBM’s SMP/E software products for installation and maintenance utility processes.

• Utilize IBM’s Job Control Language (JCL) and utility programs to manage z/OS software products.

• Diagnose and resolve technical trouble calls independently.

• Create and implement technical documentation and specifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a system programmer with expertise in managing, maintaining, and configuring VTAM and API.

• Demonstrated experience as a system programmer managing and maintaining TCP/IP.

• Familiarity with z/OS Systems, specifically z/OS 2.4.

• Experience with network communication protocols such as SSH, TLS, SFTP, and FTP.

• Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
