Engineering Excellence Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and document workflows, identifying potential areas for enhancement or automation.

• Aid in the collection and documentation of requirements for new or updated metrics.

• Assist in the creation and testing of new or modified metrics.

• Develop and deliver training materials for new or revised metrics.

• Conduct weekly validations of existing metrics to ensure their accuracy.

• Analyze data sets to uncover trends, anomalies, and issues, and provide recommended solutions.

• Engage in discussions with engineering leaders regarding reports and metric values.

• Attend training sessions, workshops, and networking events as an integral part of the internship program.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program (preferred fields: Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related disciplines).

• Minimum overall GPA of 3.5, with a preferred GPA of 3.7 in the major.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, or R) is advantageous.

• Interest in healthcare technology and process optimization.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team setting.

• Preference for candidates in the Eastern or Central time zones to align with team availability.

• No prior experience is necessary; a curious mindset and eagerness to learn are vital.

• Must possess an inquisitive nature and a willingness to embrace innovation, including AI, to discover improved processes and enhance patient and client experiences.
