This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain Magento 2 modules utilized by thousands of merchants in live production settings.
• Address advanced N3 support requests, conducting root cause analysis (RCA) and resolving intricate issues within production environments.
• Create integrations using REST APIs, SOAP, and Webhooks with marketplaces, ERPs, carriers, and partner systems.
• Troubleshoot issues related to performance, caching, databases, infrastructure, and integrations.
• Analyze application, database, and infrastructure logs to identify and address incidents.
• Engage in the advancement of Frenet's plugin and connector architecture for Open Source platforms.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, Infrastructure, and Support teams to resolve incidents and promote continuous improvements.
• Ensure adherence to development best practices, version control, security, and code quality standards.
• Assist in the validation and testing of new features and integrations with clients and strategic partners.
• Participate in technical analyses concerning high availability, scalability, and observability of solutions.
• Extensive experience in developing modules and customizations using Magento 2.
• Advanced proficiency in PHP 7+ and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Experience with relational databases, particularly MySQL, including schema design and query optimization.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for developing and maintaining front-end features.
• Proven experience in building and consuming REST and SOAP APIs.
• Proficient in Git and code versioning strategies within collaborative environments.
• Knowledge of dependency management using Composer.
• Comfortable working in Linux environments for troubleshooting, maintenance, and basic administration.
• Experienced with debugging, monitoring, and application performance analysis tools.
• Advanced understanding of Magento 2, including Plugins, Observers, Dependency Injection (DI), Service Contracts, and UI Components.
• Preferred: Experience with Open Source e-commerce platforms such as OpenCart, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, or similar.
• Knowledge of Redis, Elasticsearch, and caching mechanisms for performance enhancement.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization in both development and production environments.
• Understanding of AWS cloud services and infrastructure.
• Experience with integrations between e-commerce platforms, marketplaces, ERPs, and third-party systems.
• Awareness of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with observability, monitoring, and log analysis utilizing tools like Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar.
• Understanding of queues and messaging systems such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or equivalent technologies.
• Knowledge of web application security and best practices for secure development.
