Machine Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Install, configure, and maintain Packsize equipment solutions at designated customer facilities.

• Conduct start-up testing and provide customer training on product capabilities, features, and general maintenance.

• Develop and maintain a strong, trust-based relationship with assigned customers.

• Schedule tasks at customer job sites.

• Troubleshoot issues efficiently using technical drawings and documentation.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Software, and Quality Engineering teams.

• Execute routine maintenance and emergency services as they arise.

• Analyze customer Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify new or ongoing machine performance issues, leading to problem-solving and maintenance.

• Install Packsize solutions and train others on usage and maintenance.

• Comply with all Packsize and customer safety requirements, as well as protocols concerning exposed moving parts and electrical systems.

• A strong customer service orientation.

• Proficient in Windows platforms.

• Effective use of hand tools.

• Knowledge of mechanical systems.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Basic experience with Microsoft (Excel, Word) or Google Suite (Sheets, Docs) is beneficial, but not mandatory.

• An Associate's Degree, Vocational Training, or equivalent experience is required.

• A Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred.
