Machine Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Coordinating tasks at customer job sites.

• Effectively troubleshooting issues using technical drawings and documentation.

• Collaborating across departments with R&D, Software, and Quality Engineering teams.

• Conducting routine maintenance and providing emergency services as needed.

• Analyzing customer Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to pinpoint new or recurring machine performance issues, facilitating problem-solving and machine upkeep.

• Engaging in continuous learning regarding customer operational processes, packaging designs, and technical specifications.

• Installing Packsize solutions and training others on their use and maintenance.

• Performing basic clerical and administrative tasks, such as promptly reading and replying to emails, preparing and submitting expense reports, arranging travel, and writing detailed technical reports.

• Communicating information and ideas clearly and effectively with Packsize and customer personnel to ensure understanding.

• Complying with all Packsize and customer safety requirements and protocols regarding exposed moving parts and electrical systems.

• Demonstrating a strong work ethic and excellent time management skills.

• Handling tasks such as clearing jams, loading Z-fold, changing labels, replacing bander paper, and adding glue to the machine.

• Strong customer service orientation.

• Familiarity with Windows operating systems.

• Proficient use of hand tools.

• Understanding of mechanical systems.

• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft (Excel, Word) or Google Suite (Sheets, Docs) is beneficial but not mandatory.

• Associate's Degree, Vocational Training, or equivalent experience required.

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred.
