Machine Learning Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers to create foundational models that are applied, tested, and trained on real-world generative design applications for therapeutic biomolecules.

• Innovate and execute cutting-edge machine learning and protein science solutions.

• Partner with both computational and experimental scientists to solidify these tools as integral components of the discovery pipeline.

• Aim for personal ownership and take on a leadership position in defining model architectures and research program requirements.

• Participate in open-source and academic partnerships within the machine learning community.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctorate degree OR Master’s degree with 2 years of machine learning experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of machine learning experience OR Associate’s degree with 8 years of machine learning experience.

• PhD in Computational Sciences, Computational Biology, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.

• Proven history of research achievements, including at least three scientific publications or conference presentations in the field of machine learning.

• Experience specifically in model training and diffusion model architecture, validated by scientific publications or conference presentations.

• Proficient in UNIX/Linux, Python, PyTorch, Git, and cloud computing platforms.

• Familiarity with biological data and the application of machine learning in computational biology.

• Excellent communication and technical leadership abilities, along with a passion for working in an interdisciplinary team setting.
