Machine Learning Researcher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Create and implement innovative machine learning strategies for adversarial testing, model assessment, and resilient inference.

• Develop and launch machine learning models that fulfill practical performance and scalability standards.

• Design experiments, conduct empirical analyses, and disseminate findings through publications and internal research documents.

• Enhance methodologies for controlling, monitoring, and analyzing machine learning models within production settings.

• Convert research concepts into scalable AI systems utilized in real-world, adversarial contexts.

• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure that research findings influence production systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Engineering, or a similar technical discipline.

• A Master's or PhD in a relevant technical area is highly preferred, particularly with an emphasis on machine learning and AI safety.

• Proven experience in building and deploying machine learning models and systems.

• Demonstrated proficiency in designing, training, and deploying deep learning models, especially using PyTorch.

• Strong programming skills in Python; C++ is a plus.

• Experience in developing scalable machine learning pipelines and integrating with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

• Background in machine learning research: developing research prototype systems, designing experiments, conducting empirical analysis, and presenting findings through publications.

• Familiarity with neural network architectures, including transformers, sequence models, and other cutting-edge methodologies.

• Strong algorithmic problem-solving abilities and a solid understanding of machine learning theory and optimization techniques.

• Experience in data preprocessing, transformation, and managing large-scale, multi-modal datasets.
