This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Design and implement fleets of scientific agents focused on literature mining, target identification, molecular design, assay design, and data analysis.
• Lead each fleet in targeting a specific disease area, aiming for concrete outcomes such as a validated target, a candidate molecule, a novel dataset, or an IP-NFT.
• Manage multiple fleets simultaneously across various disease areas, providing direct updates to the CEO.
• Take ownership over the entire process: from agent design and orchestration to evaluation and scientific assessment of outputs.
• Establish and uphold the standards for conducting autonomous science at Molecule.
• Deeply entrepreneurial. You take action and don't wait for approval.
• Possess strong technical expertise in LLMs, agent frameworks, and at least one area of wet science—such as chemistry, biology, pharmaceuticals, structural biology, or genomics.
• Adaptable and comfortable with uncertainty. You may often be the sole expert present, which fuels your motivation.
• Open to diverse credentials. Whether you have a PhD, MSc, BSc, or no formal degree at all, what matters is your output. If you do hold a degree, it should be from a prestigious institution (Oxbridge, Ivy League, MIT, Caltech, Stanford, ETH/EPFL, Imperial, or similar). If you opted out of formal education, demonstrate your accomplishments instead.
• Fully committed to an intense work environment. Prepared to live on-site for 4 weeks and work at a founder's pace.
• An opportunity to play a pivotal role in establishing the infrastructure for autonomous science.
• Direct involvement in a groundbreaking area that no one else is currently exploring.
• Ownership stake through $BIO token allocation.
• The quickest route from concept to deployed intellectual property available in the biotech sector today.
