Machine Learning Engineer – Recommendation Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain production-grade recommendation systems at a consumer scale.

• Create ranking and retrieval models to enhance personalization and elevate user experience.

• Manage ML pipelines comprehensively, from feature engineering and training to deployment and monitoring.

• Collaborate with client stakeholders and engineering teams to provide scalable ML solutions.

• Analyze extensive user behavior data and conduct A/B testing to refine recommendation performance.

• Enhance the reliability, scalability, and latency of production ML systems utilizing AWS/GCP/Azure.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6 years of experience in Software/Data Engineering or ML roles.

• 4+ years of experience in building and operating ML systems in production.

• 2-3+ years of experience focused on recommendation systems, ranking, retrieval, or personalization.

• Proficient in Python and SQL, with experience in PyTorch or TensorFlow.

• Familiarity with deploying ML systems on AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Experience handling large-scale consumer data and operating in production environments.

• Advanced proficiency in English and the ability to work independently with stakeholders.

• Background in e-commerce, adtech, martech, or consumer products.

• Knowledge of A/B testing, feature stores, Spark, or low-latency inference systems.
