This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the creation of innovative ML systems, product integrations, and performance enhancements to address real-world challenges.
• Collaborate across various teams, including product design and engineering, to create and implement effective AI solutions for Airbnb's customer service products.
• Stay updated and disseminate the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies within the team.
• A PhD or Master's degree with 3+ years of experience in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical domain — or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficient hands-on experience with LLM, encompassing pretraining, fine-tuning (SFT, RLHF, GRPO), prompt engineering, RAG architectures, and LLM evaluation frameworks.
• Background in developing Agentic AI systems, which includes multi-agent orchestration, tool usage, planning, memory, and autonomous reasoning pipelines (e.g., ReAct, LangGraph, AutoGen, or similar).
• Proven experience in deploying production-quality ML/AI systems at scale, along with a comprehensive understanding of ML infrastructure, model serving, and MLOps best practices.
• Strong communication abilities, enabling effective collaboration across Engineering, Product, and Design teams.
