This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.
• Design and assess scalable deep learning algorithms that play a crucial role in our brain decoding projects.
• Work closely with data scientists to drive research in generative modeling and representation learning.
• Pinpoint inefficiencies in data processing workflows and create effective solutions to enhance performance and reliability.
• Uphold exceptional standards of code quality, organization, and automation across all initiatives.
• Adjust machine learning and neural network algorithms to boost performance in diverse computing environments, including distributed clusters and GPUs.
• Compose and revise research papers, engage in conferences, and effectively communicate and share findings.
• A degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Physics, Mathematics, Neuroscience, or another quantitative discipline.
• Over 3 years of experience in industry or research settings.
• Proficient programming skills in Python, with a background in developing machine learning algorithms or infrastructure using Python and PyTorch.
• Familiarity with deep learning methods such as supervised, semi-supervised, self-supervised learning, and/or generative modeling.
• Strong scientific foundation with the capability to formulate and test innovative hypotheses through appropriate experiments, draw conclusions, and substantiate claims.
• Skilled in handling unstructured datasets with robust analytical abilities.
• Proven project management and organizational capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and support cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
