Machine Learning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design, train, and implement machine learning models for both research and production settings.

• Enhance and sustain ML tools to ensure robustness and scalability.

• Create, refine, and manage ML data pipelines for effective processing and training.

• Automate ML processes, including model retraining, evaluation, and monitoring in production.

• Work collaboratively with researchers and software engineers to transition ML research into actionable applications.

• Identify and reduce ML technical debt.

• Optimize model performance and inference speed for deployment in production environments.

• Contribute to a project aimed at increasing access to ultrasound technology and fostering next-generation innovations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.

• Over 3 years of industry experience in machine learning positions.

• Proficiency in deep learning and computer vision techniques.

• Advanced skills in Python development within Unix/Linux environments.

• Expertise in TensorFlow and PyTorch frameworks.

• Familiarity with software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, and ensuring code quality.

• Capability to articulate and present analyses and machine learning concepts to a diverse technical audience.

• Enthusiasm for developing ML methods that are robust, scalable, and maintainable.

• Strong analytical skills for tackling complex ML engineering issues.

• Collaborative approach in working with cross-functional teams.
