This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Development of innovative products.
• Create prototypes for new modeling methodologies to be integrated into our global suite.
• Collaborate closely with our ML engineering team to pinpoint issues and provide guidance on requirements.
• Develop data pipelines and ETL processes for unique or new modeling scenarios.
• Construct new dashboards and reports to deliver insights to clients regarding model performance and impact, utilizing our proprietary BI toolkit.
• Assist in documenting methodologies, tool usage, and business logic.
• Support client implementation teams in executing complex modeling tasks on our enterprise ML ops platform.
• Conduct complex or customized data engineering as necessary to assist strategic clients.
• Train ML models for applications in underwriting, targeting, and other areas as required.
• Evaluate new product features and algorithms, ensuring accurate implementation prior to live release to our global client base.
• Implement bug fixes and enhancements to Experian methodologies concerning credit-related business logic, including modifications to Bureau Inferencing.
• Strong proficiency in writing data processing code, with experience in at least one SQL dialect; Spark SQL experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with Python and Jupyter notebooks, along with common open-source ML libraries such as MLlib, PyTorch, sklearn, and TensorFlow.
• Fundamental understanding of credit risk modeling principles.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with both business and technical audiences.
• Proficient in data visualization techniques.
• Self-motivated individual with a growth-oriented mindset.
• Background in modeling or data engineering within a Credit Risk institution, typically ranging from three to five years at a major bank, FinTech, or financial institution.
• Total industry experience of five to seven years in analytics, data science, or data engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
