This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Assess intricate analytical and machine learning scenarios for technical precision, scalability, and business significance
• Create, validate, and enhance statistical models, predictive analyses, and data-driven solutions
• Write, review, and optimize Python and SQL code utilized in data analysis and machine learning workflows
• Design plausible business and analytics use cases grounded in professional experience and industry best practices
• Evaluate modeling strategies, underlying assumptions, and analytical methodologies for robustness and dependability
• Generate clear, organized documentation and explanations for complex statistical and machine learning concepts
• Spot opportunities to enhance analytical processes, outputs, and decision-support frameworks
• Collaborate within defined project parameters while managing tasks autonomously and proactively
• Uphold consistent quality, accuracy, and productivity throughout the engagement
• Offer expert insights on machine learning, deep learning, NLP, experimentation, forecasting, and model validation
• Convey technical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Contribute to cutting-edge AI-focused initiatives tackling real-world analytical challenges
• Over 5 years of professional experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Advanced Analytics, Quantitative Research, Data Engineering, or related domains
• Strong expertise in Python and/or SQL for data analysis, modeling, and workflow creation
• Practical experience in developing, evaluating, or deploying analytical and machine learning models
• Comprehensive understanding of fundamental machine learning concepts and statistical methodologies
• Capability to clarify intricate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Excellent written communication skills for documentation and analytical reporting
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting
• Availability for approximately 30–40+ hours per week during the engagement
• Experience with deep learning techniques and frameworks
• Familiarity with Natural Language Processing (NLP) applications and methodologies
• Data Engineering experience, including constructing and maintaining data pipelines and analytical workflows
• Practical experience with A/B testing, experimentation design, and causal inference methodologies
• Background in forecasting and time series analysis for predictive modeling
• Data visualization abilities and knowledge of business intelligence concepts and tools
• Experience in model validation, performance assessment, and ongoing model monitoring
• Quantitative research background, including thorough analytical design and interpretation
• Previous roles as a Machine Learning Engineer, Data Scientist, or Applied AI professional contributing to strategic technology initiatives
