This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Dakota.
• Delivers field access support services and educational resources to Healthcare Professionals (HCPs)
• Engages with all Specialty Pharmacies (SPs) and Closed Door Pharmacies (CDPs) to support Neurocrine Biosciences' marketed products
• Maintains and enhances the integrity of Neurocrine Biosciences' pharmacy distribution network through thorough vetting activities
• Offers access support services, processes, and documentation to HCP entities regarding coverage concerns
• Collaborates cross-functionally with field sales, network pharmacies, market access, commercial analytics, and operations teams
• Observes processes and suggests new strategies to optimize workflow
• BS/BA degree in a related field AND a minimum of 6 years of commercial experience in the pharma/biotech industry, including at least 2 years in specialty pharmacy/market access.
• Experience with specialty products, preferably in CNS.
• Previous roles in other areas of pharma/biotech are preferred.
• OR a Master’s degree or MBA preferred AND 4+ years of relevant experience.
• OR a PharmD or PhD AND 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Knowledgeable about best practices in the field and familiar with broader business concepts related to the discipline.
• Actively seeks to enhance tools and processes within the functional area.
• Developing a reputation within the company in relation to their area of expertise.
• Capable of working as part of and leading multiple teams.
• Demonstrates leadership abilities, often guiding junior team members and/or indirect teams.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Understands the broader context and impact on various departments/divisions.
• Able to meet multiple deadlines across diverse projects/programs with high accuracy and efficiency.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to navigate a cross-functional environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and success in cross-functional teamwork.
• Solid understanding of specialty pharmacies, managed care, pharmacy benefit managers, and government payers, and their influence on product access.
• Comprehensive knowledge of patient support programs, including reimbursement support, financial assistance, and adherence programs.
• Strong grasp of the prescription adjudication process.
• Capable of communicating payer coverage criteria and prior authorization procedures.
• Willingness to travel overnight up to 60% of the time (travel includes working with field sales, attending business meetings, industry events, and engaging with key customers).
