LPN – Virtual Clinical Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Assess, prioritize, and manage incoming Epic InBasket communications

• Triage patient advice inquiries following established clinical protocols

• Handle prescription refill requests in accordance with BHMG policies and procedures

• Evaluate laboratory and diagnostic results for proper routing and follow-up

• Elevate complex or urgent clinical issues to VASER providers or primary care teams

• Recognize urgent patient requirements that necessitate same-day appointments

• Address patient inquiries via MyChart and phone interactions

• Provide education to patients regarding medications, treatment strategies, and provider recommendations

• Organize follow-up appointments when clinically relevant

• Reinforce care plans and promote patient involvement

• Assist primary care teams throughout the health system to alleviate provider administrative workload

• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, pharmacists, and practice teams in a virtual, team-oriented setting

⛳️ Requirements

• Completion of an accredited LPN program

• Valid LPN license for Kentucky/Indiana

• At least two years of experience in ambulatory or primary care

• Proficiency in Epic electronic medical records

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking capabilities

• Capacity to independently prioritize a high volume of asynchronous patient care tasks

• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, APPs, pharmacists, and practice teams
