This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Create applications utilizing the OutSystems platform, collaborating under the mentorship of more seasoned developers.
• Implement features of low to medium complexity, adhering to established requirements and standards.
• Conduct corrective and evolutionary maintenance on current systems.
• Aid in interpreting functional requirements, grasping business flows and rules.
• Assist in converting requirements into straightforward technical solutions that comply with the OutSystems platform.
• Engage in requirements and discovery meetings alongside business analysts and technical teams.
• Support the development and integration of REST and/or SOAP APIs, with guidance.
• Help in creating and maintaining data models, entities, and simple queries.
• Ensure the accurate use and updating of information within applications.
• Execute unit and functional tests to verify developed features.
• Assist in user acceptance testing activities, including error corrections and adjustments identified by users and the QA team.
• Adhere to platform quality, usability, and best-practice standards.
• Help analyze and resolve incidents and issues in development or testing environments.
• Provide technical support for systems developed in OutSystems, with supervision.
• Learn to interpret platform logs and error messages.
• Collaborate effectively with mid-level and senior developers, business analysts, and other IT areas.
• Follow development, version control, and documentation standards established by the team.
• Assist in preparing basic technical documentation for features developed.
• Participate in training, upskilling, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Technically progress to gradually take on more complex tasks.
• Completed bachelor's degree.
• Familiarity with the OutSystems platform (Reactive and/or Traditional Web).
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, development, testing, and deployment.
• Knowledge of data modeling and the fundamentals of relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Basic understanding of system integrations and the use of REST and/or SOAP APIs.
• Fundamental knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they pertain to screen and interface development.
• Understanding of corrective and evolutionary maintenance for applications.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum and/or Kanban).
• OutSystems Associate Developer certification or currently pursuing it (preferred).
• Academic experience, internships, or personal projects involving OutSystems (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of version control, environments (DEV, TEST, HOM), and deployment processes (preferred).
• Understanding of UX/UI and usability principles (preferred).
