Looker Data Engineer – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain Looker data models, encompassing LookML, models, and explores

• Design and enhance scalable, user-friendly data models

• Leverage Looker API 4.0 to facilitate programmatic access

• Automate the generation and distribution of reports utilizing Looker API endpoints

• Construct and refine intricate SQL queries

• Collaborate with Snowflake, dbt, and Python for data transformation support

• Partner with stakeholders to convert data needs into scalable BI solutions

• Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and performance across reporting layers

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in Looker development (LookML, models, explores)

• Proficient in utilizing Looker API 4.0 for programmatic access

• Background in automating reports through Looker API endpoints

• Capability to convert complex data into scalable, user-friendly data models

• Practical experience with Snowflake, dbt, and Python

• SQL expertise with a focus on query optimization
