Logistics Specialist – 2nd Shift

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Manage customer profile data and input loads based on customer tenders.

• Inform account managers about problematic loads and the actions taken to resolve them.

• Provide updates to receivers and customers regarding load status.

• Oversee daily pickups and deliveries, ensuring timely and undamaged arrival of goods.

• Receive check calls from drivers and guarantee on-time deliveries.

• Confirm load information before marking loads as delivered for accounting purposes.

• Investigate discrepancies such as product overages, shortages, and damages, and complete necessary documentation.

• Arrange and modify delivery appointments as needed.

• Accept or reject loads according to account manager guidance.

• Offer detailed routing directions and instructions for drivers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in logistics.

• General understanding of the transportation sector.

• Proficiency in composing routine reports and correspondence.

• Capability to apply practical understanding to execute written, verbal, or diagrammatic instructions.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

• May need to pass a pre-employment drug screening after receiving a conditional job offer.
