Logistics Planner, Ocean

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Monitor and trace international shipments while ensuring timely order fulfillment.

• Collaborate with freight forwarders to maintain adherence to Ingredion's protocols.

• Evaluate carrier performance and lead key metrics to enhance service quality.

• Review freight invoices to guarantee accuracy in billing and accruals.

• Address urgent logistics challenges and maintain proactive communication with Customer Service.

• Assist international compliance and procurement teams with their operational requirements.

• Engage in special projects aimed at continuous improvement initiatives.

• Perform root cause analysis for service-related issues and implement corrective measures.

• Enhance the utilization of ocean transportation networks for expedited shipments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• 2–6 years of experience in international logistics or transportation is required.

• Familiarity with international transportation, customs clearance, and accessorial charges is essential.

• Proficiency in SAP, Excel, and Power BI is necessary.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
