This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish robust relationships with clients by maintaining regular communication to address both immediate and long-term needs.
• Oversee customer expectations and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Collaborate with the Implementation team on successful initiatives to ensure the accuracy of our pricing program.
• Engage in rate matrix assessments to maintain profitability and competitiveness for key accounts.
• Take part in rate calculations, prepare reports, and create presentations for all significant spend bids.
• Ensure that customer commitments are fulfilled by collaborating with internal teams and executing necessary operational tasks.
• Recognize, manage, and foster new business relationships within the target market.
• Work together with the Customer Service Manager to deliver optimal transportation service solutions.
• Keep an updated database of clients, prospects, partners, and vendors.
• Track market trends, product innovations, and competitors' offerings, pricing, and sales activities.
• Carry out administrative responsibilities, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, maintaining sales records, and filing expense account reports.
• Consult with clients to address issues and provide ongoing support.
• Organize meetings with prospects, sales, and current customers in close collaboration with the VP of Sales/CS.
• 1-2 years of experience in account management within the transportation and logistics sector is advantageous.
• A recent degree from a college or university in Sales & Marketing or a related business field is mandatory.
• A minimum of 3 years of sales and account management experience in the transportation and logistics sector is preferred.
• Outstanding customer service capabilities, with a strong commitment to both internal and external customers.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as thrive in a team setting.
