Localization Operations Specialist, Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily management of localization projects related to product, marketing, and support content, ensuring timely and quality delivery.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align on priorities, timelines, and localization needs.

• Assist in international launches by coordinating localization readiness and identifying potential risks early.

• Address localization feedback and bugs, working with vendors and internal teams to implement necessary fixes.

• Play a key role in enhancing processes, documentation, and linguistic resources as we expand.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in managing localization or content operations projects.

• Familiarity with TMS platforms such as Smartling, Phrase, or similar tools.

• Strong project management capabilities with the ability to handle multiple workstreams at once.

• Excellent written and verbal communication proficiency.

• Professional working knowledge of at least one additional language besides English.

• Experience collaborating across different functions in a tech, marketplace, or fast-paced environment.

• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach and comfort in navigating ambiguity.

• Ability to perform root cause analysis and suggest viable solutions.
