This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee comprehensive multilingual localization for live sports broadcasts and digital content, guaranteeing real-time or near-live delivery across various markets.
• Manage concurrent multi-language workflows under stringent broadcast timelines, proactively addressing risks and dependencies.
• Ensure operational preparedness prior to assigned events, including access, staffing, schedules, workflows, and known dependencies.
• Supervise localization workflows during live events and swiftly address issues, changes, and production requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors, reviewers, QA, editorial, and live production teams throughout live cycles.
• Communicate delivery status and potential risks to facilitate informed production decisions.
• Maintain dialogue with cross-functional producers, video production managers, and technical teams to enable quick issue resolution.
• Guarantee linguistic precision, cultural appropriateness, and compliance with brand voice, style guides, and sports terminology standards.
• Adhere to client-specific tools, workflows, approval processes, escalation protocols, and data-handling requirements.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in localization project management or multilingual content production.
• Demonstrated experience in managing time-sensitive localization for digital, media, or live content.
• Strong operational coordination abilities, including content management, system management, and scheduling across multiple concurrent workflows.
• Capable of thriving in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with changing priorities during live production cycles.
• Experience in managing and executing structured handoff processes between teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of localization processes, quality assurance, and terminology management.
• Ability to work accurately within client-specific systems, CMS platforms, approval workflows, and documented procedures.
• Maintain discretion with confidential information and adhere to strict data-handling standards.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Quick to adapt in complex localization settings and proficient with client internal tools and workflows.
• Comfortable working in a macOS environment and able to swiftly learn client-specific tools, systems, and workflows.
• Experience in live sports, broadcasting, or streaming localization workflows.
• Background in digital media production or live events.
• Proficient in one additional language besides English.
• Familiarity with Unicode, CLDR, or other internationalization standards.
• A genuine passion for live sports.
• Flexibility to accommodate live sports event schedules, including evenings, weekends, and other non-standard production hours as needed.
