This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Develop, implement, and execute the local commercial strategy for the division.
• Align industry segment strategies with go-to-market models and operational execution pathways.
• Build and lead a high-performing commercial team to meet sales objectives and KPIs.
• Drive standardized processes for marketing and sales, pricing strategies, major account management, and sales incentive programs.
• Assume full P&L responsibility for revenue growth, EBITA realization, cost structure efficiency, productivity, profitability, and capital efficiency.
• Acquire new customers and increase wallet share.
• Monitor market trends and analyze competitor and industry dynamics.
• Forecast demand using 5Q rolling forecasts and provide actionable insights for business planning and strategic positioning.
• Implement portfolio/product strategies and local commercial approaches that align with division and business line objectives.
• Assess market opportunities and execute local portfolio projects to achieve schedule, quality, financial, and customer satisfaction targets.
• Ensure trade compliance and manage tariffs, taxes, and Incoterms appropriately.
• Lead and develop cross-functional teams, promoting commercially relevant collaboration across divisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 12 years of experience in general management, commercial management, and portfolio management.
• More than 7 years of experience in leading and developing cross-functional teams, including Procurement, sales, and sales support.
• Knowledge of products and portfolios related to Low Voltage IEC Motors and their applications across various industries and markets.
• Strong financial management background with prior P&L ownership.
• Experience in change management and building high-performing teams.
• Proven track record of year-over-year sales growth and consistently meeting or exceeding ambitious sales targets.
• Willingness to travel domestically 50% of the time.
• Valid US Driver’s license required.
• Must already possess work authorization allowing employment with ABB in the US.
• Short-term incentive plan/annual bonus.
