Local Coordinator – International Student Program

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Recruit host families for students enrolled in public high schools within the local community.

• Facilitate connections between students and host families in your area while overseeing the students during their stay.

• Serve as a mediator and advocate for the students.

• Regularly communicate with students, host families, and schools to discuss experiences and compile monthly progress reports.

• Engage in community outreach efforts and the recruitment of host families.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in volunteer management or similar fields.

• A solid background in education, social work, or community outreach is preferred.

• Experience working with students or in educational programs is advantageous.

• Outstanding recruiting abilities to attract a diverse array of volunteers.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to educate effectively.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.

• A genuine passion for community service and a dedication to positively influencing students' lives.
