This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Performs quality assurance evaluations on finalized loan transactions.
• Assesses loan documentation to verify that the loan data entered into the system is accurate and adheres to bank policies, ensuring all loans are correctly booked.
• Ensures prompt escalation of any operational risks or customer impacts to the appropriate manager, facilitating timely corrections to minimize customer impact.
• Reviews loans with escrow for precision, ensuring that the setup in the operating system is accurate and that all escrows are arranged as detailed in the escrow disclosure.
• Timely reports deficiencies to management, logs errors for tracking purposes, and confirms that corrections have been implemented.
• Understands and verifies that the bank coding for swap loans, participations, and syndications is accurate.
• Conducts root cause analysis by identifying process weaknesses and communicates findings to management.
• Provides updates in regular meetings with Loan Operations, Risk Controls, Compliance, etc.
• Engages with the immediate supervisor and team members regarding loan documentation or procedures when questions or concerns arise.
• Delivers necessary training for other Loan Operations staff members as assigned.
• Ensures that the Bank's internal and external customers receive a satisfactory level of service and that all inquiries or concerns are addressed.
• Strictly follows Bank Secrecy Act requirements and applies organizational policies and procedures in all tasks.
• Complies with all regulatory laws and adheres to compliance policies and regulations.
• Completes all assigned regulatory compliance training courses.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in bank loan operations, commercial booking, commercial loan administration, or a related field.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products.
• In-depth knowledge of standard and non-standard loan products.
• Comprehensive understanding of loan compliance policies.
• Familiarity with loan documentation and loan processing is advantageous.
• Ability to efficiently manage and organize a high volume of transactions with appropriate prioritization.
• Experience in training and presentations is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
