Loan Officer Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Serving as the main point of contact for customers

• Assisting the originator in scheduling appointments with potential and new applicants

• Providing callbacks to new leads within 20 minutes and achieving a 35% conversion rate from lead to appointment

• Setting and confirming appointments for the originator while managing their calendar

• Offering administrative support by managing various client databases

• Sending online pre-qualification links to new clients on behalf of the originator

• Analyzing customers' credit and financial situations to determine suitable loan products

• Running credit checks on loans assigned to an originator

• Executing AUS findings and preparing the Initial Fee Worksheet

• Monitoring key dates related to loan transactions and responding appropriately

• Sending loan forms, disclosure agreements, and other necessary documentation to customers for completion and signature

• Maintaining customer contact to ensure follow-up on loan applications

• Assisting in the collection and preparation of loan applications along with supporting documentation for processing

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred

• A minimum of two years of experience in mortgage lending or a related field

• Active MLO licensing is required

• Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively

• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills

• Demonstrates a sense of urgency and responsiveness

• Committed to delivering outstanding customer service

• Exhibits patience and professionalism when interacting with both internal and external clients

• Proficient in data entry, PDF software programs, Microsoft Word, and Excel

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities

• Basic mathematical skills
