Loan Officer Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Assist mortgage loan officers in their daily tasks to enhance loan production rates.

• Collaborate directly with customers, loan officers, and processors to ensure an exceptional customer experience and facilitate prompt loan closings.

• Evaluate mortgage loan applications, documentation, disclosure packages, and loan files.

• Generate rate disclosure and re-disclosure packages and provide them to borrowers.

• Identify discrepancies, clarify or amend information, and gather additional details as necessary.

• Offer clerical and telephonic support to loan officers and processors.

• Assist in various phases and aspects of lending and processing.

• Help manage pipelines for conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, 203K, and reverse mortgage loans.

• Deliver appraisals or property valuations and obtain proof of receipt.

• Monitor outstanding items and follow up with customers for necessary documentation.

• Coordinate timely loan closings with title companies and clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED), or an equivalent qualification.

• At least 1 year of experience in mortgage-related roles, including customer interaction.

• Previous experience in sales support is preferred.

• Familiarity with Salesforce is preferred.

• Strong communication and customer service abilities.

• Excellent skills in prioritization and time management.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
