LLM Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Become part of an established development team tasked with creating and launching LLM-driven features within a complex, large-scale production application.

• This role is hands-on and full-stack, encompassing backend services, APIs, and LLM systems (including retrieval, agents, and evaluation).

• Utilize AI coding tools and autonomous agents to write code, automate workflows, and enhance delivery efficiency.

• Collaborate closely with globally distributed teams across various time zones, taking ownership of features from inception to completion.

• Bring senior-level proficiency in Python and LLM engineering to plan, execute, and deliver robust technical solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Daily hands-on experience with AI-assisted and agentic coding tools (such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) for writing, refactoring, and automating code.

• Strong expertise in Python with a proven track record of developing REST APIs using frameworks like FastAPI.

• A solid foundation in NLP and machine learning, along with practical experience working with major LLM model APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic).

• Proven experience in designing and implementing RAG systems from end to end, including vector databases, semantic search, and retrieval optimization.

• Experience in building and deploying multi-agent systems and MCP servers in production environments at scale.

• Strong systems thinking and critical thinking abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to debug, optimize, and make informed engineering decisions across complex backend systems, including applying security best practices for authentication and data protection.

• Proficient in event-driven architectures, server-side events, and messaging systems.
