Litigation/Discovery Paralegal, Business & Real Estate Litigation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

• Welcome to The Freelance Firm! We are a nationwide network of skilled, high-level freelance attorneys and paralegals who offer remote, on-demand assistance for both short-term and long-term legal projects for our client law firms.

• Remote work hours will vary, but are anticipated to be around 6–10 hours per week, with the possibility of ongoing assignments contingent on performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal with a strong background in discovery.

• Demonstrated ability to review, organize, and summarize large volumes of documents and create a spreadsheet that references dates and summarizes those communications (500–1000+ documents).

• Significant experience in supporting business and/or real estate litigation matters.

• Proficient in analyzing documents and communications to create clear summaries and organized tracking systems (e.g., spreadsheets with timelines and key facts).

• Experience in discovery support, encompassing document review, organization, and production.

• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.

• Capable of working independently and taking initiative on project-based tasks.

• Strong written communication skills, particularly in summarizing complex information clearly and concisely.

• Ability to meet deadlines and ensure efficient completion of work.

• Litigation experience is required; New York-specific experience is preferred but not mandatory.
