Litigation Team Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Facilitate weekly team meetings to evaluate scorecards, staffing, case mix, SLA health, projects, and issues, ensuring the team remains aligned, focused, and on track.

• Allocate work decisively and intelligently to maintain high throughput and clarity on priorities.

• Strengthen discipline in process execution by ensuring consistent adoption of matter plans, templates, and technology.

• Mentor attorneys and paralegals, providing direction, feedback, and persuasive guidance to drive the team towards achieving results.

• Manage client relationships for all matters handled by your team, focusing on driving satisfaction, retention, and opportunities for expanded engagement.

• Maintain a selective litigation docket, intervening where your strategic or advocacy presence can create the most significant impact.

• Address issues promptly as they arise, keeping matters progressing and resolving bottlenecks before they hinder progress.


⛳️ Requirements

• JD + active Florida Bar license.

• 7–10+ years of litigation experience, demonstrating leadership, judgment, and the ability to direct others.

• Strong track record in hearings, depositions, negotiations, and executing strategies.

• Ability to communicate persuasively and foster alignment around decisions.

• Comfort in managing multiple tasks simultaneously and making quick, informed decisions.

• Proven capability to enforce standards, enhance team performance, and maintain forward momentum.

• **Preferred Qualifications**

• First-chair trial experience.

• Experience in complex commercial, class action, consumer, or eminent domain litigation.

• Previous leadership or player-coach experience.
